Just Costs Solicitors appoints new associate and costs advocate

JustCosts200Just Costs Solicitors has appointed commercial litigation specialist Alex Bagnall as an associate and costs advocate.

Alex, who is based at the firm’s Manchester head office, joins Just Costs from Lawlords where he was head of commercial litigation costs.  Before Lawlords, Alex spent seven years at John M Hayes where he was technical director.

Alex has acted in numerous cases where costs of £1 million have been claimed and has dealt with costs litigation in courts up to and including the Supreme Court.  He has been involved in some well known costs cases including Sandler v Cowdrey, Harrison v Black Horse and Kelly v Black Horse.

Commenting on his decision to join Just Costs Solicitors, Alex Bagnall said:

In addition to fee earning work, Alex will also provide training for Just Costs’ clients.  He currently teaches a costs litigation course at BPP Law School.
