Enforcing a judgment debt – A toolkit for litigators

Obtaining a judgment is only the first stage in any recovery action – the real skill comes in enforcing that judgment.

Our intermediate-level seminar will give litigators a toolkit to enable them to have a full understanding of the current enforcement rules and how they can use those to achieve the best results for clients.

It will also look at the proposed reforms in this area of law and provide an update on where we are at with the implementation of the relevant provisions of The Tribunal Courts and Enforcement Act 2007. It is aimed at both debt recovery and commercial litigators.

The emphasis will be on practice and procedure and there will be an opportunity to undertake some case study work with other delegates.
