Kain Knight wins first legal costs work from the Middle East

Kain Knight, a leader in the legal costs industry, has been appointed to its first case in the Middle East in the firm’s 35 year history.

The firm has been appointed to assist in the recovery of legal costs in a commercial arbitration dispute for a well-established international firm of solicitors based in Dubai.

Kain Knight is committed to developing the Middle East legal costs market and to this end will be running a marketing roadshow later this year in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Bahrain, presenting Kain Knight’s credentials to law firms, insurance companies and other commercial entities operating in the region.

Peter Petyt, CEO of Kain Knight, said: “This is the first piece of business Kain Knight has won in the Middle East. It represents a very large potential market, and so we are naturally delighted to be working there. We will be committing more resources to the region as we take on more business there.”
